Dr. Suzanne Genc (RAND Corporation and former ChaMPion) at alumni panel 4/18 3:30
Dr. Suzanne Genc, previously a ChaMP student at UCI, is now Associate Physical Scientist at RAND Corporation. She will speak at the Physics & Astronomy Dept. alumni panel series where PhD alum from our department come and discuss their career paths to their current positions.

Michael Milgie competes in the UCI’s Grad Slam Finals on Fri. 3/8
Michael gave a 3-minute pitch on his research on developing high-sensitivity chemical detectors at the Grad Slam Finals
Jinfeng Li defense
Jinfeng Li, a ChaMP (Physics) student in Peter Burke’s lab will defend his PhD thesis entitled “The Combined Quantum and Electrochemical Capacitance of Carbon Nanotubes and In-Solution Nanoscale Capacitance Measurements” on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 3pm in Calit2 Room 3008.

Gregory Czap, a ChaMP (Physics) student in Wilson Ho’s lab successfully defended his PhD thesis titled: “Probing and Visualizing Quantum State Coupling Between Single Molecules” on September 10, 2018.
